How are grooming prices calculated?
Every groom is quoted individually. Breed, size, coat type and condition, temperament, the requested groom and the time required may all affect the quote.
Do you groom all breeds and sizes?
Michelle works with dogs of all breeds, types and sizes. Every booking is discussed first so she can understand the dog and the service required.
Do you offer dog sitting?
Yes. Dog sitting is a core Fairy Dogmother service and may include weekends, public holidays and longer holiday periods, subject to advance booking, availability and an individual suitability discussion.
Can my dog stay over a weekend or public holiday?
Weekend and public-holiday stays may be available by prior arrangement. Advance booking is recommended, particularly for popular holiday periods.
Can my dog stay while I am away on holiday?
Longer holiday stays may be possible. Share your arrival and collection dates, your dog’s details and any care needs with Michelle so she can discuss suitability and availability.
Do you collect and return dogs?
Collection and return may be arranged depending on your location, the schedule, travel distance and the service required. Ask Michelle for an individual arrangement and quote.
Which areas do you collect from?
Collection areas and any travel charge are confirmed individually. Send Michelle your suburb or area on WhatsApp.
What information should I send for a grooming quote?
Please send your dog’s name, breed or type, approximate size, the service required, preferred date, a recent photograph and any behavioural, health or mobility considerations.
What should I pack for my dog’s stay?
Packing requirements depend on the dog and length of stay. Please discuss food, medication, bedding, leads and familiar comfort items with Michelle before booking.
Do you accept nervous, elderly or special-needs dogs?
Every dog is considered individually. Please tell Michelle about behavioural, health or mobility needs before booking so suitability and the right approach can be discussed.
Where is Fairy Dogmother located?
Fairy Dogmother is based at Lady Blake Estate, Lady Loch Road, Wellington, Western Cape, and serves Wellington, Paarl and surrounding areas by arrangement.
What are the normal business hours?
Normal grooming business hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00. Weekend and holiday dog sitting is separate and may be available by prior arrangement.
